ShredStream.com lets you add time to an active stream or bring an expired stream back online. Both options support duration multipliers with automatic discounts for longer commitments.

Extending an Active Stream

Extending adds time to your current expiration date. Your stream stays active throughout the process with no interruption to data delivery.

How to Extend

1. Go to your Dashboard and select the active stream you want to extend.

2. Click Extend on the stream detail page.

3. Choose your desired duration (1 to 24 months). The discount tier is shown alongside the total.

4. Select your payment token (SOL or USDT).

5. Review the order summary, including the new expiration date.

6. Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet.

What Happens After Extending

• New expiration date — The purchased duration is added to your current expiration date. For example, if your stream expires on April 15 and you extend by 3 months, the new expiration is July 15.

• No re-provisioning — Your stream remains active. There is no downtime or status change.

• Settings preserved — Your region, connections, IP addresses, and stream name all stay the same.

Renewing an Expired Stream

Renewing brings an expired stream back online. Because the stream's infrastructure was released when it expired, renewing requires a brief re-provisioning step.

How to Renew

1. Go to your Dashboard and find the expired stream.

2. Click on the stream to open its detail page.

3. Click Renew.

4. Choose your desired duration (1 to 24 months). Duration discounts apply.

5. Select your payment token (SOL or USDT).

6. Review the order summary.

7. Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet.

What Happens After Renewing

• Status changes to provisioning — The stream is re-provisioned in your configured region. This typically takes a few minutes.

• New subscription period — The duration starts from the time of renewal, not from the old expiration date.

• Settings preserved — Your stream name, region, and connection configuration carry over. You do not need to reconfigure anything.

• Status becomes active — Once provisioning completes, data delivery resumes automatically.

Tips

• Extend before expiration to avoid any gap in data delivery. You can extend at any time while your stream is active.

• Set a reminder for yourself before your stream expires. ShredStream.com does not auto-renew subscriptions.

• Choose a longer duration upfront if you plan to use the stream for several months. The 20% discount at 24 months adds up to significant savings.
